Nike is drawing inspiration from Japan, using traditional Sashiko stitching on the 2023 release of the Nike Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko. Nikes Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko is constructed using denim uppers that feature white contrast stitching across the blue denim paneling. Traditional Japanese Sashiko stitching designs are sewn into the toe box and heel tab. The Nike Dunk Low Sashiko features white Nike branding on the tongue and insoles. The Nike Dunk Low Industrial Blue Sashiko released March 9, 2023, with a retail price of $120.
